Recently, I watched a famous Korean movie called Parasite. This movie becomes more and more famous after winning several significant awards in Oscar, Golden Globe Awards, and other major academies. As more and more people start to follow and go to see this movie, it gains a lot of appreciations and compliments from the public, YouTubers, as well as some film critics. However, at first, I was not interested in this movie because the title of this movie seems to be related to some bugs or insects, which I extremely dislike and feel disgusted. But after I have a slight understanding of the theme of it from the internet, I think it is quite amazing to name it in this way. It is also because I have heard many people give recommendation to this movie that I gradually got curious about it and then decided to watch this movie with my family. Here I want to introduce this movie shortly and share some of my thoughts after watching this masterpiece.

        First, the main characters are from two different families. One is poor; the other is wealthy. These two families are just like people from different worlds because the gap between them seems to be too big to change. Nonetheless, the poor family in this movie still plays petty tricks to get the jobs that work for the wealthy family, and this finally succeed. However, there is an unexpected event happening. The poor family found a secret concerning the secret basement in the house of the wealthy family, where a mystery man lived. This secret resulted in all the unforeseen events. At last, the main characters all come to bad end. The wealthy family is broken because their father was killed by the father of the poor family. And in terms of the poor family, the brother was seriously injured, the sister died, and their father escaped and hided.

        After watching this movie, I was really shocked because I can never imagine the story will develop like that. The actors in the movie also do a good job in describing the characteristics of the characters. The character that impressed me the most is the sister of the poor family, which is played by Park Su Dam. I have once seen a Korean reality TV show called Three Meals a Day. She is one of the people who participate in that program, and her image is clever, capable, and lovely there. However, in this movie, she looks totally different from the one I familiar with, and she even swore in the movie. To conclude, I think ‘Parasite’ is indeed a must-see movie in terms of its arrangement of plot, acting skills of the actors, as well as the shooting method of the director.
